POP ETC
Henie Onstad Kunstsenter is proud to present the exhibition POP ETC. showcasing the influence of Pop Art on Norwegian painters, graphic designers, movie directors and cartoonists in the period 1964-1974.
The exhibitions's point of departure is the year 1964, the year Norwegian artists came into contact with Pop through the exhibitions of Louisiana Museum and Moderna Museet, in which American Pop Art was featured. A large number of young Norwegian artists began to work in the realm of Pop Art.
