The group show explores the crossroads between visual arts and theater, investigating notions of theatricality, representation and simulation, both at the intersections and on the particularities of each subject. The collection of works gathers contemporary artists productions along with historical photographic records and pieces from theater archives. The title is inspired by the chorus of the bolero Puro Teatro [Pure Drama], by Puerto Rican composer Tite Curet Alonso, famously recorded by Cuban singer La Lupe, in 1970. Throughout the exhibition time period, the show will be activated by readings and solo theater acts performed by various guests.
