Photo Incubator Edition One
The Market Photo Workshop in partnership with the Department of Arts and Culture are delighted to present the exhibition Photo Incubator: Edition One produced by the first 10 Photography Incubator Programme participants. The exhibition will open on the 30 March 2016 at the Market Photo Workshop in Newtown, Johannesburg.
The exhibition is the culmination of a 5-month long Photography Incubator Programme. The programme was developed as an opportunity for practicing photographers, who require assistance in launching their professional careers, to refine and expand their practice while learning additional skills through the guidance of established practitioners, curators and administrators. Aimed at emerging photographers, the Programme is envisaged as a transfer of skills, experience, knowledge and professional practice that might shift talented photographers into a more advanced stage.
