Rsa New Contemporaries 2022
The RSA New Contemporaries, supported by Walter Scott & Partners Ltd, represents the Royal Scottish Academy鈥檚 commitment to supporting and promoting contemporary art and architecture in Scotland. Now in its twelfth year, this carefully curated exhibition offers a unique opportunity to see some of the best emerging talent in Scotland under one roof. Showcasing 57 graduates selected from the 2020 degree shows, the exhibition will feature a wonderful array of painting, sculpture, film-making, photography, printmaking, installation, performance and architecture.
The selection was made by exhibition Convenor Marion Smith RSA, with assistance from fellow Academicians and representatives from the five main colleges of art, and the five Scottish schools of architecture are each represented by graduates selected by Architecture Convenor Fergus Purdie RSA.
