Johannes Vogt Gallery is happy to announce Showtime, an exhibition of five artists working in the paradigm of painter-as-sculptor and sculptor-as-painter. The title Showtime works as a blatant description of an opening event (鈥淚t鈥檚 time to have a show!鈥�), but is also loose enough to be interpreted as a poetical abstraction stemming from hearsay, hyper-real stylization, and distillation of form in a logo. It is a capsule, but it at once means nothing and negates nothing.
