The exhibition 禄I鈥檓 Not Here芦 by Steve Schapiro is the largest presentation of the artist鈥檚 work since his passing in 2022. It comprises around 40 works, a large number of which are being shown for the first time worldwide. At the center of the exhibition is the theme of freedom, to which Steve Schapiro felt closely connected throughout his life.
The exhibition is divided into three sections: the civil rights movement in the USA, portraits of major pop culture personalities such as Andy Warhol, David Bowie, Samuel Beckett and Barbra Streisand, as well as Steve Schapiro鈥檚 works created on famous film sets, including The Godfather, Taxi Driver, E.T., Back to the Future and Rocky.
