Works by Dayana Beisenova, Chukwuemeka Anthony Chukwu, Xinxin Din, Xue Fei, James Gardner, Roast Hoggmann, Yong Eun Kwon, Gianna Putrino, Leah Schrager, Cydney Williams, Hans Wendel, Jingyu Xu, Li Xu and Xue Zheng and give a compelling insight into new directions of painting moving into the late 2024. Works on view span expressionism, photorealism and abstraction, with an expert sense of color commuting mood and meaning across the variety of subject matter these artists depict. Echoing a range of imagery, in the words of artist Gianna Putrino works on view offer, 鈥渁 response to the nostalgia and desire for an imagined world.鈥� Echoing expansion and ideation of a wider vision for the future, 鈥淪tretched Out鈥� pushes back against the perceived limits of contemporary painting.
