Summer Exhibition
Shin Gallery is excited to present 鈥淪ummer Exhibition,鈥 an eclectic showcase featuring a wide variety of artwork from a wide variety of artists. This exhibition places well-known artists next to emerging artists, displays artwork made 100 years apart side-by-side, and includes artists from a wide range of backgrounds, from Iceland all the way to Korea. Visitors will enjoy the unique opportunity to explore a diverse array of artistic expressions and styles, including both figuration and abstraction, while contemplating the possible thematic and visual connections between seemingly unconnected works of art.
鈥淪ummer Exhibition鈥 brings together a range of perspectives, showing how art continuously changes while maintaining a dialogue between the past and present. From historical works to the avant-garde contemporary works that challenge and redefine traditional forms, this exhibition showcases artists that push the boundaries of conceptual thinking alongside more traditional, representational artists. Placing artists from different periods alongside each other invites us to consider the ways art has evolved, not just in configuration, but in concept.
鈥淪ummer Exhibition鈥 is a holistic celebration of creativity. Not beholden to specific artistic movements nor mediums, this exhibition reflects the gallery鈥檚 commitment to fostering a diverse artistic dialogue and promoting exciting work by both up-and-coming artists and established artists. 鈥淪ummer Exhibition鈥 promises to inspire, surprise, and delight viewers.
