Summer Selections
Louis K. Meisel Gallery is pleased to present Summer Selections, a group exhibition that brings together a collection of recent works by our roster of Photorealist artists. The show will focus on the application of a Photorealist approach in the media of sculpture and painting. A group of three-dimensional works will be represented by both Randall Rosenthal’s signature trompe l’oeil sculptures and Brian Booth Craig’s bronze nudes.
Cityscapes, one of the favorite subjects of Photorealist artists, will form the basis of the painting selection, ranging from iconic New York street scenes by Randy Dudley, Gus Heinze and Bertrand Meniel to Italian locales by Raphaella Spence and Anthony Brunelli. These bustling metropolitan corners will be juxtaposed with the rural Americana settings of Rod Penner and Mike Bayne’s canvases. The lineup will be rounded out with intimate portraits by Andrew Valko and Bernardo Torrens, culminating in a bold splash of red color filling the crisp candy still life by Roberto Bernardi.
