The Daum at 20: Selections from the Collection
The Daum at 20 celebrates the twentieth anniversary of the museum鈥檚 opening in 2002. The museum-wide exhibition will highlight the most significant acquisitions during this time period. Since the museum鈥檚 founding, based on the personal collection of the Daum鈥檚 primary benefactor, Dr. Harold F. Daum, the collection has increased from about 200 artworks to more than 2,000. The exhibition will be divided into media, with focuses on painting, ceramics, photography, prints, and a section devoted to the original works that were once installed in Dr. Daum鈥檚 home. Among the artists to be featured are Hung Liu, Robert Kushner, Akio Takamori, Betty Woodman, Ansel Adams, Linda Connor, Louise Bourgeois, Kara Walker, Helen Frankenthaler, and Gene Davis.
