The Freedom of Simple States develops the multi-faceted NCCA contemporary art collection, at the same time studying the possibilities of interaction between professional and folk cultures. This interaction is apparent in the dialogue of works by artists Sergey Reznikov, who artistically uses plastic forms of contemporary culture, and Vasily Romanenkov, whose graphic compositions present archaic states of art.
