Wilf Perreault: Carnival of Light
This exhibition features the artist鈥檚 iconic alleyscapes as well as large sunrise and sunsets. Perreault鈥檚 paintings often begin with an idea from a photo taken while driving and are then transformed into intimate views that have a light that appears to radiate from within.
鈥淐arnival of Light is a Beatles song. It was an experimental song (avant-garde). It was recorded in about 14 minutes on January 5, 1967. There are no lyrics. I love this title and it describes my continued experimenting, play, and love of the process of creating a work of art.鈥�
