Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw

The Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw is a national cultural insitution established by the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Poland on the 29th of April 2005. On the 30th of October 2005 the municipal authorities of the City of Warsaw and the Ministry of Culture signed an agreement on shared management of the Museum. The agreement determines the managerial, organizational and financial basis of the Museum as well as the guidelines for investing in and erecting the Museum鈥檚 building designed by Christian Kerez. The Museum is supervised by the Museum Board, established by the Minister of Culture on the 12th of September 2005. At present, the Board members are: Magdalena Abakanowicz, Micha艂 Borowski, Adam Leszkiewicz, Krzysztof Michalski, Agnieszka Morawi艅ska, Adam Myjak, Andrzej K. Olszewski, Anda Rottenberg, Adam Szymczyk, Andrzej Turowski, Danuta Wawrzynkiewicz.
