An exhibition of contemporary work by Puerto Rican artists at the Whitney captures the impossibility of going back and the difficulty of forging ahead
Having grown up in Puerto Rico during the 1980s, I can now say that, looking back, those were years of relative prosperity.
The exhibition titled "No existe un mundo poshurac谩n: Puerto Rican Art in the Wake of Hurricane Maria" will be on view from November 23, 2022 through April 23, 2023 on the sixth floor of the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York.
