The Rooms Where It Happened: A New Mfa Show Looks at Photographers鈥� Studios

Last year, reviewing Re鈥檊is de Gasperi鈥檚 Box of Illusions, I delighted in a minor coincidence: a forty-six-year-old-me looking at a book by a forty-six-year-old artist contemplating the particularities of his age.
Photographic series about hands were added to my list of (playfully) banned subjects a number of years ago, where they would join cats and fire hydrants as too clich茅-prone, and thus best avoided.
