gilt-brass, the circular Blue John veneered top applied in segments to form concentric rings, the frieze with a border of paterae filled guilloche headed by fluting and stop-fluting, the three similarly cast scrolled supports decorated with husks and converging on a hexagonal pillar with a gadrooned ball finial and decorated on each facet with sunflowers, the arched tripod base similarly decorated with husks and trailing flowers on leafy paw feet
