2016 Juried smallWORKS 2D and 3D works
The Riverside Galleries at Garrison Art Center will conclude the 2016 exhibition season with the biennial juried show smallWORKS. Art Center launched its first international juried small works exhibition in 2013. The show included 2D, 3D and 4D works. In 2014 it bacame a biennial event with jurors Marylyn Dintenfass, David Provan, and Greg Slick.
2016 smallWORKS juror Don Nice, who is recognized as one of most innovative contemporary American realist painters, has selected over fifty artists for the 2016 smallWORKS show. The exhibition includes drawings, paintings, prints, photography and sculpture that are less than 20鈥� in size. Painter Phoebe Gilman and sculptor Ruth Geneslaw received Best in Show for 2D and 3D respectively. Honorable Mention awards went to artists Hildreth Potts, Gwenn Mayers, Sarah Greenbaum, Ivy Dachman, Stacey Farley and Linda Barboni.
