A Little Closer
Aleph Contemporary鈥檚 latest exhibition is inspired by Paul Klee鈥檚 epitaph which reads: "slightly closer to the heart of creation than usual. But not nearly close enough." For the show, titled 鈥淎 Little Closer鈥 Dr Andrew Hewish BEM brings together a group of artists whose paintings and sculptures demonstrate the vitality of contemporary practice.
Held at The Bindery, Farringdon鈥檚 stylish newly refurbished bookbindery, the exhibition presents a showcase of fresh new works that are infused with visual invention, a sense of the importance of human action and creation, and a delight in being close to that which is felt on the edge of seeing.
