Bryan Adams: #SHOTBYADAMS

02 Sep, 2025 - 30 Sep, 2025

JD Malat Gallery Dubai is proud to present '#SHOTBYADAMS', a solo exhibition by the iconic Bryan Adams as he explores a brand-new style of photography. Inspired by the expression 'seeing things through rose-tinted glasses,' Adams experiments with multi-coloured plexiglass to create a dreamlike screen that transforms the relationship between subject and viewer. This innovative approach reinterprets celebrated portraits of figures such as Kate Moss and Mick Jagger, offering a fresh perspective on how we experience photography as a form of art.

Adams' portraits have long been recognised for their outstanding quality, earning him the German Lead Award in both 2006 and 2012 for his exceptional portrayal of Mickey Rourke. His work captures the uniqueness and complexities of human nature; skills honed during his distinguished career photographing for Harper's Bazaar and Vogue. His photographs are now held in prestigious international private and public collections, including his celebrated portrait of the late Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, permanently housed in the National Portrait Gallery, London.
