Conversations
The mutual love and respect for handwork with fabric and other surfaces have brought together the multi-dimensional works of four artists featured at Studio Gallery. Sarah Pavlik with her rhythmic geometrics and forms has a contemporary, often abstract approach to quilting. A more traditional vintage quilt has been masterfully reconstructed by Leslie Lilly. Neighbors Beth Eltinge, a bead artist, and Eleanor Wang from Studio Gallery, created works responding to the other鈥檚 forms and paintings.
The exhibit bridges artisan and painterly traditions in a kaleidoscopic conversation about color, line, form and texture.
