This autumn, Modern Art Oxford presents two exhibitions that form part of the Encounters series: Spanish artist Cova Mac铆as in the Lower Gallery; and Susan Philipsz's special off-site commission at the Radcliffe Observatory, Oxford.
Cova Mac铆as鈥� practice examines how young people present themselves and construct their identity. For the last six years, she has made videos that intimately explore this territory, creating compelling portraits of her subjects and collaborators. This exhibition, the artist鈥檚 first in the UK, presents three works, centering on Mac铆as most recent piece, La revolte intime (The intimate revolt), 2009.
