Marking the museum鈥檚 double anniversary, the long-running exhibition format 鈥淔rischzelle鈥� also celebrates its twentieth year. Conceived as a platform for emerging artists from the region, the series has, after early itinerant beginnings, found a permanent place within the collection galleries. Each year, invited artists are challenged to create interventions that enter into a direct dialogue with established positions in the collection, offering renewed impulses and fresh perspectives on the museum鈥檚 holdings.
On the occasion of this anniversary, the museum presents for the first time a selection of works that, following their initial presentation in 鈥淔rischzelle,鈥� were subsequently acquired for the collection. The exhibition spans almost all 31 iterations of the series and brings together works by artists such as Katina Bock, Benjamin Bronni, Micha艂 Budny, Gereon Krebber, Pia Maria Martin, Ann-Kathrin M眉ller, Peles Duo, Anahita Razmi, and Nasan Tur.
