Iida Pii: Observations on the Order of Things
Everywhere, all the time, work is being done to stop or reverse time. People want to preserve things, even though that goes against their very nature. There鈥檚 a constant sense of excess around us. Things are always spilling over the edges. They鈥檙e trimmed, swept back, bordered, and pruned with shears. But every act of containment inevitably leads to new overflows: a cut branch sprouts. Things resist staying within definitions, neatly folded or in place. Everything tends toward mixing, everything tends toward chaos.
