Imagination is the Medium

Workhouse Arts Center is pleased to announce the opening of Imagination is the
Medium, a groundbreaking exhibition exploring the work of Guy Gilchrist and Emmy
Award Winner, Bill Diamond, Jim Henson鈥檚 original illustrator and his original
puppeteer. The exhibition features a range of objects created throughout
Gilchrist and Diamond鈥檚 remarkable careers from original illustrations of the
1981 newspaper comic Muppet Babies to puppets from the award winning 1983
television show Fraggle Rock. The original puppets from the Ed Sullivan
television series Business, Business will also be on display in lieu of the 50th
anniversary of the series鈥� original air date of February 18, 1968. Gilchrist and
Diamond played a major role in bringing to life the comic strips and television
show we all have come to love. The exhibition will be on view on the second
floor in the McGuireWoods Gallery from February 10 鈥� April 1, 2018.
