In Solidarity with Palestine
In light of the tragic situation currently unfolding in Palestine, which is manifesting in the loss of countless innocent lives, and in solidarity with the Palestinian people, Darat al Funun - The Khalid Shoman Foundation is postponing its upcoming exhibition and public programs, with the exception of the educational program.
The amplification of artists' voices is needed now more than ever. Artists are witnesses to the injustices of our world today, and offer new visions for how we may live in the future. This is why Darat al Funun is here today.
Also on display is a video of a lecture on the history and origin of the Nakba by historian and researcher Walid Khalidi, and a film of the last interview with political activist and literary critic Edward Said.
