During construction, The MATT will operate a temporary museum at the historic Rose Hill mansion in the four parlor rooms on the first floor. Selections from our permanent collection tell the story of the region and its people. Among the highlights are Colonial portraits; samplers and needlework; Charles Goodyear鈥檚 rubber desk; paintings of the Connecticut landscape; Waterbury manufactured goods; and art by
Alexander Calder,
Kay Sage,
Faith Ringgold, and
Kristin Baker.
