Cavalier Galleries is thrilled to present Summer Highlights: Part II, an online group exhibition featuring distinguished works of modern and contemporary painting, sculpture, and photography. Available online from August 13 鈥� September 13, 2020, this virtual show features an impressive roster of twenty artists working in styles ranging from the abstract, to pop, to realism.  The exhibition includes vibrant abstract paintings by the likes of Larry Zox, Cleve Gray, Charles Greene Shaw, Francine Tint, Ira Barkoff, and Maureen Chatfield as well as an oil on board work by the renowned Abstract Expressionist, Hans Hofmann. Also featured is a magnificent oil on canvas landscape by late colorist Wolf Kahn, who was also a former pupil of Hans Hofmann. Additionally, the exhibition presents a playful graffiti painting by Nantucket local, Stephen Pitliuk, works by contemporary painters Guy Stanley Philoche and William Nelson, with nostalgic references to popular culture, and a playful trompe l'oeil painting by the established contemporary realist, Joel Carson Jones. Also featured are exceptional works of sculpture by Federico Uribe, Guy Dill, Jim Rennert, Bjorn Skaarup, Reuben Nakian, and Joel Perlman and photography by DeboraH Ory & Ken Browar, and Debranne Cingari. With striking abstract compositions, rich colors, and playful forms, this exhibition wonderfully highlights the exceptional modern and contemporary artists featured at Cavalier Galleries.
