Scream Collection Part II features etchings, lithographs and silkscreen prints by Salvador Dali, Joan Miro, Allen Jones, Damien Hirst and others.

The collection features Spanish sculptor, printmaker, ceramicist and painter Joan Miro, a key figure in the Surreailist movement.  His exquisite 1960 etching with aquatint 鈥楪rand Vent鈥 will be on display, as well as a 1974 lithograph  鈥楢ffice pour L鈥橢xposition Miro, Louisiana鈥.

Several iconic images by Salvador Dali will be included, such as 鈥楶ort Ligat (Venus with Drawers)鈥, a 1970 lithograph inspired by his 1936 sculpture 鈥榁enus de Milo with Drawers鈥, and a phallic cosmological 1974 print 鈥楾he Gelatinous Watches of Space Time鈥.  A lithograph by American Pop Artist Jim Dine also uses the Venus de Milo as its inspiration, 鈥楾he Bather (Venus)鈥 2005, reinterprets the classical muse using primary colours and clothing her in a yellow basque.

Allen Jones鈥檚 鈥楰neeling Woman鈥 is a typically fetishistic image from the Pop Artist who created a table from the female form in the swinging 鈥60s (鈥淗atstand and Chair鈥, 1969).  Jones is a Royal Academician with an international reputation as a painter, printmaker and sculptor, who has been the subject of retrospectives at the Serpentine Gallery, ICA and Barbican.
