Mayberry Fine Art -Toronto is pleased to present
New Works by Sean William Randall. These recent works combine the architectural details of Toronto storefronts with glimpses of poetic Poussin – like landscapes. Steeped in a pervasive sense that there ought to be something there that isn’t, Sean William Randall’s paintings hang in eerie suspense. Toying with a subtle surrealism, Randall employs aesthetic interruptions to play with illusion, surface and depth. After studying architecture at the University of Manitoba, Randall worked with various architecture firms in Canada as a designer and illustrator. In 1992, he left the architecture profession to devote himself entirely to painting and he is currently based in Regina.
