MACRO, Museum of Contemporary Art of Rome

On Rome's cultural scene, MACRO 鈥� Museo d鈥橝rte Contemporanea Roma has succeeded over time in carving out for itself a specific, independent national niche with international aspirations. The MACRO, which has been a part of the Sovrintendenza Capitolina ai Beni Culturali's Musei in Comune system until late 2017, is now managed, as of 2018, by the Azienda Speciale Palaexpo, an agency operating on behalf of Roma Capitale's Assessorato alla Crescita culturale.
