Black Mist Burnt Country: Art Under the Nuclear Cloud of Maralinga
Sydney Morning Herald 24 Aug, 2018On September 27, 1956, the British exploded an atomic bomb on Pitjantjatjara land in South Australia. The place would become known as Maralinga, which means 鈥渢hunder鈥 in the now-extinct Garik Aboriginal language.
