鈥淏.A.T.鈥� is one of those bits of art-studio lingo that print-makers use to communicate; it stands for 鈥渂on a tirer鈥� which translates as 鈥済ood to pull,鈥� meaning that a print has been proofed and the satisfied artist is ready to go forward with producing its edition.
In her first institutional solo show in New York, artist Adelita Husni-Bey, whose work previously appeared in the 2017 Venice Biennale and the 2018 edition of the Museum of Modern Art鈥檚 鈥淣ew Photography鈥� show, will present a new video installation titled Chiron (2019).
The symposium La Universidad desconocida (鈥淭he Unknown University鈥�) is part of the public program organized around the exhibition Bajo un mismo sol: Arte de Am茅rica Latina hoy (鈥淯nder the Same Sun: Latin American Art Today鈥�), presented at Museo Jumex.
