Franco-Chinese painter Xie Lei, known for his dreamlike portraits of ghostly, ambiguous figures adrift in dark spaces, has been announced as the winner of this year鈥檚 Prix Marcel Duchamp, France鈥檚 most prestigious contemporary art prize.
Chinese-born, Paris-based painter Xie Lei has won this year鈥檚 Marcel Duchamp Prize. Established in 2000 by the Association for the International Diffusion of French Art.
