Creekshow
Creekshow is an exhibition recreating Deptford Creek through the memories of the local community. Inspired by their time moored on Deptford Creek, Mary Malone and Jenny Witzel (Rita鈥檚 Kitchen), ask what space the creek holds in our collective consciousness and how this space is threatened by encroaching regeneration.
Collaborating with a team of local artists, Creekshow is part exhibition, part performance: bringing to life a multimedia archive of found objects and oral testimonies. Rita鈥檚 Kitchen will be consulting disability-led arts organisation Shape Arts on the accessibility of the exhibition. Specific access provisions will be listed here nearer the time.
