Swiss Treasures: Impressionist Masterpieces From The Museum Langmatt

28 Mar, 2025 - 27 Jul, 2025
From Pissarro to Renoir, Monet and Gauguin to °äé³ú²¹²Ô²Ô±ð and Degas: The Swiss Museum Langmatt is considered one of the most important private collections of French Impressionism in Europe. It was assembled by Sidney and Jenny Brown at the beginning of the 20th century and has been housed in an Art Nouveau villa in Baden, not far from Zurich, since 1990. As the villa and park will be completely renovated by 2026, there will be a unique opportunity to admire the Impressionist masterpieces from the Museum Langmatt in Cologne in spring 2025. Under the title "Swiss Treasures", they will be on display at the Wallraf-Richartz-Museum & Fondation Corboud, where they will meet a selection from the permanent collection - a dialogue that promises fascinating encounters.
