In Cause and Effect, artist Noa Zuidervaart engages with geomantic practice as a means to explore intuition, chance and alternative modes of future-thinking.

Reading Characters is a project —consisting of both a publication and an exhibition— that examines language and reading, specifically focusing on typography. The project is co-organized by Eva van Bemmelen and Annabelle Binnerts and will take place at Billytown, The Hague.

‘Slagduif’ is a group exhibition featuring all of Billytown’s artists, treating the gallery as a playing field. By chance, Billytown discovered that the dimensions of its gallery exactly match those of a badminton court.

The exhibition title ‘Camera Piena Camera Vuota’ (Full Room Empty Room) reflects Giorgias interest in creating spaces from elements that, in many ways, are destined to become ruins, as well as her approach to engaging with this process.

Billytown will host The Sea We Want to See Part 2 from 1 November to 21 December. The exhibition is a follow-up to Part 1, which opened in Seoul in June 2024. It features 11 works by Eunsae Lee, Hyeree Ro and Jiyoung Yoon, who are prominent Korean artists.

The exhibition This Is One Landscape, Divided features works by Meta DrcÌŒar (SI), Katherina Heil (DE), and Jiajia Qi (CN), binding themes together in spatial installations to think critically about each work representing a different artistic character within the same focus.

On December 9th, 2022 Billytown opens its doors with an exhibition showing the work of 36 artists.
