The University of Hawai鈥榠 Art Gallery presents a varied exhibition program that plays a significant role in providing information about the visual arts in both an historical and contemporary context. One of the finest temporary exhibition facilities in the nation, the gallery consists of approximately 4200 square feet of versatile space with an installation system of modular and movable walls that allow the utmost in flexibility of presentation. Approximately 50,000 visitors annually view six exhibitions in the Main Gallery and weekly exhibitions in the smaller Commons Gallery that serve an important role as showcase for thesis exhibitions, the work of visiting artists, and on-going class work.
