Detroit Institute of Arts adds nearly 70 important historical and contemporary works to permanent collection
ArtDaily 28 Aug, 2025The Detroit Institute of Art announced today the recent acquisition of nearly 70 works that significantly expand the museum鈥檚 celebrated permanent collection across multiple departments.
The major survey exhibition Trace 鈥� Formations of Likeness is in collaboration with The Walther Collection, a New York City/Neu-Ulm.
Chinese photography erupted with creative energy in the early 1990s, only to subside about a decade later. It was a period of anxious uncertainty.
